The volunteers at the Jake Calhoun Campaign are producing a calendar showcasing elite and up-and-coming wrestlers and coaches in all areas of the sport, and we are accepting photos & applications for a limited time. A wrestler and coach, Jake suffered heat stroke at the Greco Roman World Team Trials in June 2014, and received a life saving liver transplant. Photos will only be accepted until November 15, 2015.
We invite you to submit photographs from your wrestling career for our 2016 calendar, which will benefit Jacob Calhoun’s fundraising campaign. Jake is a two-time NCAA Division III national qualifier. Jake has been an assistant coach at his alma mater, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and Gettysburg College. Recently he attended SUNY-Cortland where he was a graduate assistant coach. Jake was the head wrestling coach for Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA at the time of his heatstroke accident. Proceeds from calendar sales will be provided to the National Foundation for Transplants in honor of Jacob Calhoun to assist with his medical expenses.
